I’d love to give 10 stars if I could! I ordered two of these books for my twins for their 18th birthday. They love the concept and think it’s really exciting but with preparations for going to college they have not gotten to reading it yet, but it is on their summer list, however the third book I ordered was for my dad for Father’s Day, when he was visiting last month, he told me how he loved reading spy books, and he went on and on about loving to read and how much time he spends doing it. Two years ago, we lost my mom and he’s been pretty much all alone in that house since so he spends his time reading and playing Scrabble with some friends and my sister. So I ordered him one of these books and got the mystery edition and let me tell you what everything about this book that was generated was so spot on and perfect and it has my dad‘s fishing buddy (who is my uncle), and it’s got my nephew in it! The picture on the cover is just awesome. He got it in the mail yesterday and went straight home and started reading. He called me really late last night and told me what a hoot the first chapter was, and how he can’t wait to delve to the rest, but he was terribly tired and it was late. Then he told me he was going to pick it up the next day and finish it. He added “no TV tomorrow.” which I thought was adorable. I have not heard my dad laugh like that in two years. I have not heard his heart be so light in two years. He really, really enjoys reading that book and I can’t wait to see how he feels about the whole thing. Thank you so much ‘book by anyone’ for putting a sparkle back in his eye even if it’s just for a while he’s reading. 💕
